Meet The Face Behind Heart River Center for Intuitive Healing
I’m Peter Roth, the director of Heart River Center for Intuitive Healing.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you'll enjoy getting to know me better.
In my early years, I was passionate about teaching physical fitness after having been in national competition as a karate blackbelt. I was also a dedicated runner, so I was fortunate to be on the organizing committee of the first five-borough NYC Marathon in the mid-’70s. I also became its finance director for 22 years. In that role, I was the treasurer of the New York Road Runners which went from a very small organization to a gigantic one having 200 employees before the virus became limiting..
My responsibilities helped develop my organizational skills, which came in handy when I went from operating a photo studio in the Photo District in NYC starting in 1974 to building a manufacturing company from scratch in 1986. At Kidselebration, we developed and sold audio cassettes for children with songs to build their self-esteem. We sold millions of them until I sold the company in 1997 in order to professionally offer my healing/counseling and teaching abilities which I saw as my true passion.
My first workshop attracted sixty-five people so I was inspired by its initial success to begin offering weekly classes in my large living room on the Upper West Side. I enjoy spreading positive energy and improving people’s lives, not only spiritually and emotionally, but also physically. Besides, I’ve also worked with some of America's leading runners which has been a joy as running is such a big part of my life.
Over the past four years, I’ve also transformed Heart River into a virtual schoolroom and have used Zoom extensively even before it became popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re currently in changing times, and consciousness is evolving, so it’s an excellent platform for me to help spread awareness and important information.
Teaching is a great joy, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I value and speak with every student in each class. I attribute a good deal of my success to being unique, as I don’t think other schools currently offer the same diversity of topics in our classes.
Every class is rewarding to me as there are so many revelations in each one that I intuitively receive and pass on to the students. Knowing that they go away feeling empowered fills me with immense satisfaction.
When I'm not counseling students, I love to get out of the city and I regularly run and swim. While I’m not a political activist, I also offer support for progressive change.
If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as an intuitive healer, counselor, and teacher in New York and virtually worldwide, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.heartriver.org.
Sincerely,
Peter
