Reid Stowe created a miracle being at sea non-stop for over 3 years. The last 2 years, he was alone on his 70 foot Schooner Anne in the middle of the ocean. How he survived the very challenging journey is amazing. His boat was damaged near the beginning in a collision with a freighter and he sailed with a disabled boat all those years. He even capsized a couple of times. You can see the journey on his website 1000days.net and look at a map that shows the GPS of each day. When he arrived last week, all the networks had camera crews and his photo was in newspapers all over the world. Tune in to this interview by Peter Roth of Energy Stew.

Reid Stowe communicates via satellite radio with Peter Roth to talk about the recent departure of his sailing partner Saonya Ahmad and how he is continuing the voyage solo. He has close to 700 days left to navigate the oceans without docking or resupplying. Reid talks about the condition of his schooner and how he’s managing the boat alone.
