Peter Roth interviews Reid Stowe on Schooner Anne as he is headed south in the Pacific to sail around Cape Horn in the most dangerous ocean in the world.

Peter talks with Reid Stowe who is alone at sea on the Schooner Anne on a non-stop 1000 day voyage.  For the first 305 days he sailed with Soanya Ahmad who is also on this call.  She had to leave the ship to continue her pregnancy on shore.  He recently surpassed 500 days at sea and is now in the South Pacific.  Reid has a satellite radio for on-going communications.

They have recently surpassed 200 days and are heading into the Southern Ocean about to hit the difficult seas of the 40th latitude. Be patient about the reception. Sometimes it’s excellent and at other times it comes and goes.
