Some people are so psychic/intuitive it’s scary. I’m always in wonder that we can actually be given higher gifts that have a great impact on our lives and others. Jonna Rae Bartges is an extreme example of someone who was born to see and hear things that most of us can’t imagine. Her journey with these gifts has been dynamic, valuable and troubling for her. Her book, Psychic or Psychotic, offers a fascinating read of her amazing gifts and the difficulties of living with them. She is a joy to talk with and her intelligence (Emmy winning TV producer) and insights make this an intriguing and thoughtful interview. Don’t miss this conversation between Peter Roth and Jonna Rae Bartges.

Although it’s important to identify our addictions, it’s even more important to heal them. This is a difficult but possible journey that generally needs a lot of support. In this continuing series on addiction Peter Roth again interviews the Chupka family who have written a book “It Went Without Saying” about their journey with their own and a family member’s addiction. They have wonderful insights about what can and cannot be done to help ourselves and others.

How often are you annoyed at yourself for the ways you fall back on habits that you know aren’t good for you?  There are often good justifications. What are you hiding from yourself and others? In this continuing series on addiction, Peter Roth again interviews the Chupka family who have written a book “It Went Without Saying” about their journey with their own and a family member’s addiction. Many addictions aren’t recognized until trouble brews and people and dreams get hurt. In this continuing series on addiction Peter Roth, on Energy Stew, interviews the Chupka family who have written a book “It Went Without Saying” about their journey with a family member’s addiction. They have wonderful insights about what can and cannot be done to help others.

Peter Roth, on Energy Stew, interviews Dr. Gabor Mate, the author of “In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts”. He has so much to tell us about the hidden (and often not hidden) patterns in our lives that can truly get in our way. He’s a very well known author who speaks from a wise and honest perspective. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this interview.

Reid Stowe created a miracle being at sea non-stop for over 3 years. The last 2 years, he was alone on his 70 foot Schooner Anne in the middle of the ocean. How he survived the very challenging journey is amazing. His boat was damaged near the beginning in a collision with a freighter and he sailed with a disabled boat all those years. He even capsized a couple of times. You can see the journey on his website 1000days.net and look at a map that shows the GPS of each day. When he arrived last week, all the networks had camera crews and his photo was in newspapers all over the world. Tune in to this interview by Peter Roth of Energy Stew.

Peter Roth, on Energy Stew, interviews John Lear, a very well known personality in the conspiracy field. Hundreds of thousands watch the youtube interviews about his unusual theories of science and life on this planet as well as very unique ideas about 9/11 (different than you’ve probably heard before). He doesn’t even believe in many of the usual conspiracies that are going around. You’ll be very entertained by his understandings. Fortunately, he knows it’s a stretch to embrace a lot of what he says but I think he makes a great contribution to stir the pot and get us thinking about how we might not really understand what’s out there.

Many scientists have been troubled about the validity of spirituality. To them it might not be more than a figment of our imagination. In Peter Roth’s interview on Energy Stew with Dr. Charles Tart, a transpersonal psychologist and the author of “The End of Materialism – How Evidence of the Paranormal Is Bringing Science and Spirit Together”, we talk about this tenuous relationship. Dr. Tart is a rigorous scientist and can find technical flaws in many of our closely held spiritual beliefs. He is also devoted to spirituality and is doing his best to bridge the gap. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book and each chapter drew me in with fascinating interest.

You might think it’s logical to doubt time travel. Science has no doubt. Peter Roth, on Energy Stew, is interviewing physicist Dr. David Lewis Anderson who not only has his own time control laboratory but networks with scientists in many other countries who are advancing this field and are often funded by their governments. There is no if or maybe involved. The equipment is already working and is regularly demonstrated but there are many questions as to the pros and cons of this work. So much can be learned by traveling to other times yet we aren’t clear about what harm can come from this. If you are spiritually inclined, this presents new understandings of consciousness. Our whole understanding of the nature of time needs to be reworked.
